About Us
Over the past nine years Accord Services has provided care for more than 600 clients throughout the state of Georgia, deploying the services of over 800 RN’s, LPN’s, and CNA’s in the last year alone.
Kathy Adams co-founded Accord Services in October of 2001. Kathy is a Certified Rehabilitation Nurse with over 20 years of nursing experience including eight years at Shepherd Center. Kathy’s specialization is in medical management, rehabilitation, and case management. Kathy graduated from the School of Nursing at Kennesaw State University where she worked in various aspects of nursing including the opening of the Peritoneal Unit at Kennestone Hospital. It was at Shepherd Center that she found her true passion: caring for people who have suffered from catastrophic injuries.

Steve Adams is the co-founder and President of Accord Services. Steve has 17 years of experience in management, executive recruitment, and staffing.
Freddy Allen
Administrator, Marietta GA
Freddy has been with Accord Services since October of 2001. Freddy is the Administrator of Accord Services Corporate Branch in Marietta, GA. Freddy’s experience includes over 12 years of skill and practice in recruitment and healthcare staffing.
Thomas joined Accord Services in February of 2002. Thomas is the Administrator of Accord Services branch in Savannah, GA. Thomas’ experience encompasses a long career in Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy; as well as several years in Information Technology.
Dan joined Accord Services in 2006 following 13 years at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, most recently as the Director of Admissions and Associate Director of Marketing and Managed Care. At 30 years of age, a spinal cord and head injury from a motorcycle accident left Dan a dual-diagnosis paraplegic. Following his rehabilitation Dan began what is known as the “Journey Back to Life” campaign and for over 17 years, he has shared his knowledge and experience through seminars, symposiums, and various publications to case managers, insurance companies, and Accord Services clients.
Cathy joined Accord Services in March of 2010. She brings with her over 23 years of experience from Shepherd Center. She was originally hired at Shepherd as part of the first-ever nurse extern program. It was during this time that she was awarded a scholarship from Shepherd to complete her nursing program. Cathy held several posts at Shepherd, including Staff RN on the SCI unit, ICU, Education Coordinator for MedSurg/ ICU, and finally Outpatient Unit Manager. During her time at Shepherd, she was asked to speak at numerous events regarding the role of the rehab nurse and the care of the spinal-cord-injured client.

Helaine joined Accord Services in 2002 bringing with her 11 years of experience in the nursing field. She started in the field and quickly moved into a Quality Assurance role in the Marietta corporate office in 2003. As Assistant Director of Nursing in the Savannah office, she currently oversees nursing, staffing and facilitates in educational training.
