Accord Services
With over 600 private home care providers in the state of Georgia, from the very beginning Accord Services knew that it would have to offer something different. We made the decision to focus on a select population and to specialize in the care of that population. Accord Services is not a general staffing agency trying to meet the global temporary needs of the healthcare community. We provide one on one care for catastrophic and neurological disease patients only.

As a result of our specialization and the quality of care we provide, we have gained a tremendous amount of support from many Worker's Compensation carriers and case managers who call on us to provide care for their injured workers. Over the last 6 years we provided care for over 360 clients throughout Georgia, with a majority of them having suffered a catastrophic injury.




Kathy Adams R.N., CRRN
Co-Founder & Director of Clinical Services

Kathy and her Husband Steve founded the company in year 2000. Kathy has over 20 years of nursing experience which includes eight years at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Her years of experience in the area of medical management and rehabilitation for acute and catastrophic injured clients provide additional insight into the educational and training needed to provide our clients with the best possible care. Kathy is a Certified Rehabilitation Nurse and has case management experience. This experience combined with her passion for care has contributed to Accord Services being a preferred provider for Private Duty Care in the home with many of workers compensation case managers and insurance companies in Georgia.

Steve Adams
President

As the company's founder and chief executive, Steve has been responsible for developing the company's mission, culture and values. His management experience in executive recruitment and the staffing industry have allowed him to bring innovative ideas and management approaches to Accord Services. Steve’s current responsibilities include strategic planning, financial management and personnel development.

He is involved in all strategic financial matters of the company and oversees many of the financial functions such as cash flow management, banking and insurance relations. Additionally, he has a role with the Information Systems for the company and works closely with staff members in developing systems that assist in more efficient staffing management. Steve has been in the Staffing and Recruitment industry for 17 years.



Freddy Allen B.S.
Dir. of Staffing/Recruitment

Freddy joined Accord Services on Oct 08, 2001. He has been working in the healthcare staffing area since 1995. Freddy brings to Accord Services 12yrs of experience specializing in staffing and recruitment. He is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith Univ. with a degree in Computer Science. Since joining Accord Services, Freddy has grown the external nursing staff to 200 active employees.



Thomas Gurley
Operations Administrator
Savannah, GA.

Thomas joined Accord Services in February of 2002 following a career with an Orthopedic Rehabilitation/Physical Therapy group and several years in the Information Technology industry. Thomas is responsible for the day to day operations of the Savannah Office.



Dan Miers BSBA
Director Of Marketing

Dan joined Accord Services in 2006 following 13 years at Shepherd Spinal Center in Atlanta, most recently as their Director of Admissions and Associate Director of Marketing and Managed Care.
At 30 years of age a spinal cord and head injury from a motorcycle accident left Dan a dual-diagnosis paraplegic.
Following his rehabilitation and his belief that life is 10% of what happens to you AND 90% of how you respond to that, Dan has become one the leading figures in our community spending the last 17 years sharing his insight and knowledge through seminars, speaking engagements, various publications and one on one interactions with Case Managers, Insurance Companies and our clients.
